Wales World Cup international returns to Raiders for the remainder of the season.

Steve Parry has joined up with the squad and will add his experience for the rest of the 2019 season. Steve has played for Gloucester All Golds and was a key part of the Raiders last season,he has also been a huge part of the Welsh first team for many years and was pivotal in their World Cup qualifiers last year. Raiders head coach Kim Williams added  “Steve’s signing is a huge boost for our club as we approach the mid-season mark. His leadership and direction on the field will help to take some pressure of our young playmakers so I am looking forward to seeing the team respond well over the coming weeks. Along with the recent signings of Morgan Evans and Gioele Celerino we have added some much-needed experience to the squad and this should be of great benefit to us for the remainder of the season.” The Raiders are still continuing to looking to add to their squad and future partnerships so keep an eye out for further releases during the week.

Congratulations on achieving that first win. As the mascot of the Sunshine coast Falcons who lost 37 games in a row a few years ago I have some idea on how big this win is.
