Tyler Hunt Joins Raiders 2019 Squad

West Wales Raiders can announce their first official singing for 2019 as Australian half back Tyler Hunt puts pen to paper.

The 19 year old scum half will be the first signing for Kim Williams since becoming Raiders head coach.

Tyler is a prolific points scorer who was awarded the prestigious Rookie of the year for the Western Australia RL competition in 2017. In the same year Tyler guided his team Rockingham Sharks to the senior grand final.

Tyler also in 2017 represented the Australian Combined Affiliated State Under 18s side. In 2018 he was chosen as the captain of the WA Pirates team that plays in the Nee South Wales SG Ball competition.

Kim Williams added “Tyler is an outstanding young player who will bring exceptional leadership qualities to the raiders 2019 squad. I have followed Tyler’s career with interest since my time as head coach of the Rockingham Sharks and am pleased to have the opportunity to guide him through the next stage of his career. We are very excited to have him on board as he continues his rugby league journey.”
