RACING GENERAL MANAGER TO JOIN THE BOARD AT THE RAIDERS

Simon Rowlands will join the board at the Raiders and add his wealth of experience from his previous management roles in catering, hospitality leisure and sports industries working for Chepstow Racecourse, Glamorgan Cricket Club and most recently Ffos Las Racecourse..

Simon is the General Manager at Ffos Las Racecourse which is owned by the Arena Racing Company (ARC), who operate 16 horse racing venues in the UK as well as hotels and greyhound tracks. Simon who has been working closely with Raiders part owner Peter Tiffin on numerous events through the Raiders partnership with Ffos Las decided to take up the position to continue the good work being done by both organisations to showcase the continued growth of racing and rugby league in West Wales.

He said: ”it’s a privilege to take up this opportunity with the Raiders and hope that I can bring something to the table to support in there vision of the club and keep Wales growing on the map within the sports”
