Kim's thoughts on a frustrating day at Cougar Park.

After yesterday’s away loss to Keighley Cougars, we caught up with Raiders Head Coach Kim Williams to see his thoughts on the frustrating afternoon at Cougar Park.

“The performance against Keighley was a big improvement on the previous few weeks and the final score line probably wasn’t a true indication of the game. The first half was very even with the scores locked at 6-6 beyond the 30 minute mark before a couple of late tries to Keighley saw them enter the break up by 16-6.

The second half was a bit the same - we competed really well with them for long periods but then conceded quick tries. We played some good attacking footy though and we defended on our try line a lot better as well.

There were some excellent individual performances with Dalton Desmond-Walker receiving the Players Player award for his efforts. Morgan Evans, Gioele Celerino, Tyler Hunt, and Archie Snook were also standouts on the day.”

This weekend we welcome Coventry Bears to our home of Stebonheath Park, it is FREE ENTRY for all children who are accompanied with a paying adult. Kick off 3pm.
