As it stood, the West Wales Raiders had 3 Directors after Ian Curzon left the club just before the start of the 2020 season. The remaining 3 directors in control of the club are Andrew Thorne (Chairman), Peter Tiffin (CEO) & Aneurin Gravell (Director), all 3 have also equal shares of ownership of the club.
Angela Windsor a well renowned award winning business woman in the Carmarthenshire area and will join the board as a non-executive director. Angela is the Director of Print Inc Embroidery & Print, Crosshands and has been in business for 10 years. Not only has she been involved in business but she has a passion for sports and fitness, in her younger years show jumping and dance.
When we caught up with Angela on her new position with the club she had the following to say “ I had seen various posts on social media via mutual friends regarding the West Wales Raiders and the clubs successes in running so many popular events. When Andrew Thorne (a business associate) was at my Print Inc. production office I noticed that he was wearing a Raiders jacket and our discussion ended with him asking if I would be interested in joining the board. Having been in businesses for 10 years, I look to bring the skills that I have learnt along the way to help to develop the clubs reach and success. I am also involved within various business networking events and would look to use these opportunities to promote and support the club where possible. I’m very excited to be a part of the club and look forward to contributing to the plans to grow the brand across various new avenues.”
