Ffos Las Racecourse became the first new National Hunt racecourse to be built in the United Kingdom for 80 years and is Wales’s third racecourse along with Chepstow and Bangor-On-Dee. Today, the track is dual purpose and stages Flat meetings throughout the summer months, with National Hunt meetings taking place for the rest of the year.
Raiders CEO added “We are really pleased that Ffos Las have decided to be our main sponsors this season, we had so many plans for 2020 but they were soon put on hold. We have a lot more ideas and plans that we can’t wait for the public and local community to enjoy and be a part of.”
Ffos Las General Manager Simon Rowlands stated “It’s a great privilege to be involved with the West Wales Raiders and continue the support for the up and coming season. In these troubling times working local with Peter and the team is vitally important to use and to grow the relationship. We hope the fans will get the opportunity to watch all the current hard work that is happening around the team in preparation for the season ahead. I encourage everyone local to come along and support the team once these current restrictions are lifted. Support local, support the management and support the team all the way. I can’t wait to get back working with Peter on our ideas hopefully in the new year.”
