With the recent announcements of Ben Flower and Gareth Davies joining the Raiders coaching staff for 2022 season, the club have added further experience in ex Celtic Crusaders forward Geraint Davies.
Gareth Davies played for Celtic Crusaders in the Super League & was an ever-present in the Welsh national squad.
After his playing days he then moved on to be a co-presenter on S4C and coached junior international squads for Wales including Wales under 18’s.
Geraint spoke on his appointment “I have been out of the game for a while but am really excited to be back involved. I have been keeping an eye on the Raiders over the years and with Tiff and old friend it’s been a discussion I have had previously but with Ben and Gareth joining it’s the perfect time for me to come on bord especially with knowing Ben so well.
Raider’s part owner Peter Tiffin added “I have known Geraint for a long time and have tried previously to get him on board, with our appointment’s it a great fit to add Geraint to the coaching team and add the wealth of experience between Ben, Gareth and Geraint. Ben, Gareth and Geraint are a fantastic team to have on board and the experience and links they have will help grow the Raiders further.”
